Pendleton
Jerimiah did a great job wrestling in Pendleton. I missed his first match, but one of the other mom's told me he got robbed. She said he had the kid pinned a couple of times and the ref never called it. In the third round he was winning 11 to 1 and the kid shot and got Jerimiah down and the ref called a pin. I don't know what happened but it was probably a good thing I wasn't there... I would hate to be the mom that is asked to leave the school. He won his next two matches and did a great job. He's really learned a lot and I'm very impressed with his desire to keep learning.

Superbowl project
I decided to make this cute little bag during the superbowl this year. I kept checking in on the game, but for some reason it really wasn't that interesting to me. Of course I love all the snacks and goodies, so I still ate plenty and watched enough football for me.

Our crazy weekend
This past Friday Jerimiah had a tournament in John Day. He was not that excited about riding the bus for 2 1/2 hours. When I dropped him off at the school I told him he could ride home with me. Well, my day took a different turn. Aaron called me as soon as I left the school and needed me to come get him from work. I didn't know what was going on until I got there and he couldn't stand up straight and looked like he was going to be sick. I took him up to the hospital and they found a 6 mil. kidney stone... yeah- that's huge. So, no wrestling for me today... now we are going to go have surgery instead. Poor Aaron. He was in a lot of pain. We live so far out and our hospital doesn't have the equipment for this surgery so they decide to send him to Tri-Cities. That's great, but I can't transport him because he's on pain meds, and his oxygen levels keep going up and down. They had to monitor him and make sure he was going to be ok. The hospital tried to make arrangements for ground transportation but that was going to take to long, so he went for a plane ride. Nice- huh... well needless to say it was a long day, but the procedure went well and he's doing much better. Poor guy, I don't ever want to see him in that much pain again. On a brighter note- we have a great hospital here and the Dr. and nurses did a wonderful job. We also have a lot of great friends that really helped us out and I'm very grateful for them. Hello out of pocket maximum for the year :) at least it's only February, so the rest of the year should be covered.
Justice
Justice had a great time at the tournament. He took third place. He likes to wrestle and thinks it's a lot of fun. He did have to wrestle a kid that didn't know anything about wrestling and the kid kept choking and pinching him. (I was one mad momma!) Justice did his best and I think he learned from the experience. The two other kids he wrestled did a good job. They have been trying hard to learn how to wrestle and Justice said it was really fun to wrestle them.
Eli wrestling
This was Eli's first tournament. There were four kids in his bracket. He had a lot of fun, it was so cute to watch him move around and try to do his "wrestling moves" on someone who was trying to do the same thing. He took third place and was so excited to get a ribbon.
Here's what's cooking today
Eli made his Hawaiian haystacks look so pretty! I think we have created a monster! He wants to play with all of his food before he eats and then he thinks we need a picture... way to much food network for this kid!
