2011 Homecoming

Eli was selected to be the Pennant Bearer for Homecoming this year. He did such a good job. At first he wasn't very excited about it, but after the practice day he said "I think Homecoming is going to be more fun then I thought." His friend Sally was who he walked across the field with, they were so cute.
The announcer told a little bit about each person that was nominated, Eli's was kind of funny... big surprise, I know.

Camping in June

All of us girls doing what we do best... Cooking! (OK, there are lots of things we do best!)

Little Max was such a good camper. He really seemed to like being outdoors all weekend.
We used the dutch ovens to make pizza and cookie brownies. It turned out really good. I always love cooking in the dutch oven. Everything taste better up camping.
The kids enjoyed the lake being so close to the campground. We had such a great time camping and hope to make it a tradition. Phillips Lake is a beautiful area. I hope we go back sometime.

Justice's tonsil surgery

Justice had his tonsils out on April fools day. His surgery went good and he is recovering well. He is trying his best to eat and drink, and he is doing a great job at it. This poor kid is no stranger to a sore throat so hopefully this is the last really bad one he will ever have.

St. Patrick's Day

This year for St. Patrick's Day our friends Shawn, Melissa, Natalie, and Vanessa came to visit. We had so much fun hanging out and participating in some of the festivities. We went to the smoker on Friday night and watched some amateur boxing. It was really fun. Then on Saturday we went down town and wondered through all the vendors booths. Heppner sure has a great St. Patty's weekend. We always have a lot of fun and it was even more fun this year having someone to share it with. Thanks for coming to visit us!

Winter quilting project

This is the quilt I put together this winter. I used a rag quilt pattern so it looks a little different finished. It is so cute!

Brothers

I just love this picture. I took it at Justice and Eli's wrestling meet. Jerimiah dislocated his knee a few days earlier so he was unable to wrestle anymore this season but he was there to support his brothers. Jerimiah is coaching Justice in this picture, I think it's great. Even with all the "big brother" moments that Jerimiah has I can't imagine a better big brother.

Birthday Boys

We are so lucky to have two March babies in our family. Justice turned 10 this year! He is such a big boy! It's hard to believe that he is that old. Eli turned 6 and thinks he is 16. He decided to add a few years to his life so he could be bigger. We feel very blessed to have these two amazing boys in our lives. Happy Birthday Boys!

Visit from Grandpa Spaulding

Grandpa Spaulding and the boys! What a great way to spend the evening.

Updates are coming! I promise!

I know it's been a long time since I posted anything, life has been a little crazy. Hopefully I should have some time this weekend to update everyone. Justice is going to have his tonsils out on Friday so I may be very busy playing nurse this weekend... wish us both luck! I will post pictures soon.
