Pictures for Christmas Card

How come when you want to take their picture it's a fight and when you are just goofing around they are a bunch of hams?!
This lasted for about 2 seconds, then they want to see the picture! How did we ever live without digital cameras?

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We decided we needed a few lights on the house this year, maybe next year we'll get a few more done before it's freezing outside. (we'll have to start in September!)

Justice and Eli won their catagory for the gingerbread workshop. They are so excited! Way to go boys!

Gingerbread house workshop

We went to a gingerbread house workshop. Eli and Justice had so much fun making their house.
They had even more fun eating the frosting!
Decorating is so much fun!
All done! Nice Job boys!
Way to go!

November flys when your having fun!

Jerimiah is learning to play the trumpet, clarinet, and trombone. This concert was for the Veterans Memorial they did at the High School.
Eli's class had a kid's in the kitchen week. They needed an apron to bring to school so Eli and I made this one afternoon. He was so happy with it!
Eli's class had to dress up as a jungle animal. I had no idea what to dress him as and was not prepared to make anything. I found this fabric in one of my boxes and asked him if he wanted to be a snake- his brothers told him to be a tree python and he thought that was a great idea. He went around all day ask school pretending to be a snake. His teachers thought he was so funny. Not to bad for something that looks like a pillow case!
Justice had a western dress up day at school.

DIY Network anyone?

This is our back yard- there was no grass at all and with the dogs and kids we thought sod would be the best way to go. It was nice to see the finished project! Instant lawn! Gotta love it.
Looks pretty good.

Jerimiah thinks he's getting to big to dress up for Halloween so he didn't want to. He went to his first school dance on Thursday night. He's quite the dancer from the sound of it. He had a great time and danced with a lot of girls! Look out he's almost a teen!

Happy Halloween!

Justice was a mummy, but his costume wasn't staying on very well so he changed to an "agent"

The end of the month already!?

We have had so much fun this past month. Things have been a little crazy with my knee surgery at the first of the month, but I am doing well and will hopefully be walking without assistance soon. Jerimiah has played football this fall and really enjoyed it! He says he can't wait for wrestling to start, but I am ready for a little break in between. Justice's class has been busy building rockets this last week and launched them on Thursday. (Hopefully my pictures will make it on here!) Eli is as busy as ever. He has had a lot of fun at school. They wore costumes twice this week, painted pumpkins, and went trick-or-treating! They walked down main street and visited all the business. Aaron has been busy all month at work, he is hoping to take next week off and go hunting. I have been trying to keep up on my day to day things but some of them don't work out so well one legged. We hope everyone is doing well and miss all of you!

Pumpkin Carving!

The finished product!
The boys wanted to add ears to their pumpkins
they look more like horns!
Big smile Justice!

Oh how cute!

Pumpkin guts! Yummy!
At least Eli is having fun!

Yummy!

Justice and Eli enjoying their ice cream cones!

PB&J Day!

The week of Homecoming the kids at school had different dress up days. They had pajama day, would you be my friend if I wore this day, PB&J day, and spirit day. Jerimiah's friend dressed up like a hippie too! They had a lot of fun!

Oakland Baseball!

We went to a game in Oakland while we were on our trip. Oakland vs. The Rangers. We watched as two different guys tried to run across the field. It was so funny- did they think they were going to make it out of the stadium? This was also the game that a fan got tazed at. There's a video on youtube for those of you who really want to see it.

Six flags

Tony Hawks roller coaster at six flags. Aaron and I went while we were in San Francisco! We had a blast! I've never laughed and screamed so much! (well, I can't remember when I have!)

Back flip contest

Jerimiah and his buddies were practicing their back flips off the side of the pool. Jerimiah is on the far right.

Cannon Ball!

Justice and Brennan had a cannon ball contest- they usually forgot to roll up in a ball, but that didn't stop them from yelling "cannon ball!" They usually tried to splash me when they jumped! They had a blast swimming this summer!

Summertime fun!

Eli is quite the little swimmer! He loves to be in the water and prefers the deep end. I was surprised at how well the water wings help him float. He is kicking his legs and using his arms a ton! By next summer he'll be off swimming by himself! He's growing up so fast!

Take off!

These were taken as we took off in the plane! He loved it!

Eli's turn!

Of course Eli gets to go too! We would never hear the end of it if he didn't! He loved the ride! He told me before we went that he was probably going to fall asleep in the plane. He almost did! He was very relaxed about it. I got some cute pictures of his face when we took off! You can see his excitement. He said "that's the funnest thing I've ever done!" How's that for being four!

Airplane Rides!

We went to visit Grandpa in Washington. While we were there we went for an airplane ride. Jerimiah has gone in the airplane before, but not since Grandpa was crop dusting in Mountain Home. He was a little nervous but he said it was awesome! When the airplane was taking off he said it was going really fast but once they got in the air it was slow! Justice hasn't ever ridden in the airplane. He loved it! He said it was really really fun! He is now contemplating the idea of being a pilot when he grows up! Thanks Granpda for the rides! And thanks Wes for letting us use your airplane!

The Best Rope Swing!

We met some people that live up in the Mtns. they have the coolest yard and house! They have been very good to us about letting us come up and mushroom hunt. They even have a fish pond that they invited us to go fishing at. They have this rope swing that is so cool! It's probably a 50 foot rope tied to a tree. You get a running start and around the tree you go! Justice was doing it one handed like tarzan! For a skinny little bean pole he's pretty strong!
Of course dad had to try it out too!

Jerimiah makes it look so easy! Mom still wasn't convinced! It's the landing that will get me! Eli wasn't convinced either so we just watched and took pictures!

To much free time!

I found this picture on my phone- I took it this winter when we had so much snow! I think he had a little to much free time inside!

Tiny Tim Song

Eli learned this song at preschool- he has been singing it all day! He's so cute!

We just got home from preschool when Eli has to run into the bathroom. A few minutes later I hear "mom i'm done." (all you parents out there know what that really stands for) So I go into the bathroom to help him and he has the biggest smile on his face and says "your a good bum wiper mom!" What a grateful little kid! He makes me laugh all the time! Just thought I'd share :)

Baseball Rocks!

Jerimiah absolutly loves baseball. If he never had to stop playing he still would love it! He really has enjoyed learning about it and enjoys playing! He plays some outfield and has played third base. He likes to catch pop flies! At this game he was a lot better about watching the pitches and was walked to first a couple different times. This time he stole bases-all the way home! We thought for sure he was out but the kid dropped the ball!
