Birthday Interview

I had to interview Eli on his birthday- just to see what he had to say. First his advice for the day was "watch out for birds cause they poop on stuff!" So true!
How old are you today? Four
What is so great about turning four? Cause it's my birthday
Is there something you will be able to do now that you are 4? mmhmm do laundry by myself
Do you like to do laundry? Shakes his head yes-Can I go to Merricks house and do laundry at her house?
Why do you want to do laundry at Merricks house? Once i'm done doing laundry then I can play with Merrick and Harrison. Can I?
What do you want to do now? Um- play the orange game at Merricks house.

He was a little obsessed about going to Merricks house!

Happy Happy Birthday!

Justice had the best birthday ever! He turned 8 years old! Where has the time gone?! I can't believe he's 8! He had a birthday bash at school, Jerimiah's class came to sing to him- they have the funniest birthday songs. The one they sang to Justice was to the tune of Gilligans Island. I'll have to post the words later! Justice had a party at the bowling alley with some kids from school. Way fun! He's quite a bowler! He had a couple of strikes! I can't even do that on purpose!

My New Bed!

Eli loves his new bed! He thinks it's the greatest thing ever! He has no trouble at all climbing up and down the ladder. What a big boy to sleep on the top bunk! His bed has a desk too so the other day he says "mom- can you just get me a computer to put on my desk?" Oh sure Eli- I'll get right on that! What a character!

Bbrrrr!

Justice has had so much fun sledding in the back yard. We have a pretty good hill for it. It works out well because when the kids have had enough all they have to do is come inside and they are out of the cold! Let it snow! (Actually i'm ready for spring so maybe not:)

Little Boy Blue-

Jerimiah is doing a great job learning to play the trombone! We were here only a couple of weeks before the Christmas program and Jerm was ready to play! We are so proud of him and love that he has a desire to learn to play an instrument!

Time to eat!

Here dad- let me help you with that! Oh Eli, you are so much fun! Aaron had to change the heating element in the oven and Eli loves to help with everything! I thought it was pretty cute- it would have been even cuter if Eli looked like he was pushing his dad into the oven! :) ha ha

Eli was asked how to cook a dinosaur at preschool the other day and they wrote his answer down. It's so cute I had to share it. :)

1. Put cheese in the dinosaur with lady bugs and stir it.

2. Put a cow in and crunch it up. 3. Put in in the microwave. 4. And then eat it! Do you ever wonder where they come up with things? We had a good laugh- hope you do to. :)

The Biggest Icicle Ever!

Eli found the biggest icicle i've ever seen. It was hanging off the side of our house and he reached up and pulled it off! He packed it around most of the day. He kept licking it- I thought that was disgusting but he said "it tastes good mom!" Well, who am I to say a thing. (I'm just the mom :) Kids! You gotta love them!
